second level will contain only the programming concerning the intercoms of their block (for ex. in a housing
complex composed of a main entrance and three buildings with 10 apartments each, the keypad/s and the
eventual concierge at the main entrance –main level- must contain the programming of the 30 intercoms,
while the keypad/s of each building –secondary levels- must contain only the programming of the 10
intercoms of the building).
Speech adjustment
It is necessary to adjust the speech volume to have the best performance without “Larsen” effect (Feed
back). It is advisable to carry out the following procedure:
1. Be sure that microphone volume and speaker volume trimmers of the VX2202 or VX2203 are in the
middle position ( access holes to the trimmers at the back of the keypads);
2. Make a call from the keypad (VX2202 or VX2203) towards the nearest phone on the BUS (the handset
must be picked up) and speak near the microphone of the outdoor station adjusting the balance trimmer
(access hole at the back of the outdoor station) in order to have the lowest feed back from the speaker of
the outdoor station;
3. Make another call towards the farthest phone in the BUS line (the handset must be picked up), then
check the speech again at the nearest phone;
To adjust the handset microphone level of phones or videophones, turn left or right the VR1 trimmer (inside
the unit) to reduce or to increase.
