SP380 TELEPHONE INTERFACE
The SP380 is a versatile self contained telephone interface unit allowing Videx door entry
panels to be connected to a standard or cordless telephone handset or an analogue input of a
PSTN switch board with or without a telephone line.
The SP380 can be connected in parallel with an existing Videx telephone or video intercom.
The unit will allow for the connection for up to 2 corded telephones and has a serial output
for future use of auxiliary equipment.
Standard features
• Make and receive outside calls.
• Receive calls from the door station.
• Open the door or gate.
• Place one call on hold, whilst another call is answered.
• Control one or two auxiliary outputs to switch additional equipment connected to the
SP380.
• Program a number of features including door open time, number of rings, door open key
etc.
Additional features
The SP380 will allow the following to be undertaken where standard telephone charges will
apply.
• Divert calls from the door station to a programmed telephone number including mobile
(max 16 digits).
• Open the door or gate from the diverted telephone using a 4 digit code.
• Control one or two auxiliary outputs to switch additional equipment connected to the
SP380.
• Program the SP380 from the telephone keypad.
• Dial into the SP380 from a remote telephone and take control of its features (auxiliary
outputs etc).

VTS106 accepts one, one button door panel and has six telephone extensions. VTS108
accepts two, one button door panels and has eight telephone extensions. Both units have one
external telephone line connection. A call from a door panel will ring all extensions or only
those programmed to receive the call. On acceptance of the call all other telephones are
available for intercommunication or making and receiving an external call. A received call
from the door panel or an incoming telephone call can be transferred to another telephone
extension. The door where a call originated can be opened by the telephone responding to
the call.
